I finished up my Gauntlets for my Mandalorian costume today. I had some pieces of Sintra leftover from my armor build, so I popped those in the oven and shaped them to fit my arms. Using Amazing Sculpt I made a housing for the "flamethrower" and control box for the electronics. The "flamethrower" is a toy lightsaber I gutted for the soundboard to use for an upcoming build. I added Red, Orange and Yellow 5mm leds to the "flamethrower" that are activated by a momentary switch in the control box. I also used a sinkdrain screen as well as a hose to capture the appearance of a real flamethrower. For the left gauntlet, I used a scrap piece of Sintra to make the blade and a pencil box to house it, as well as the 15 led chaser kit from bakatronics.com I then painted them in Revelin Zar's traditional Purple and Black colors.
