In Greek mythology, Orthrus was a two-headed dog and a doublet ("brother") of Cerberus.
Orthrus, is a double bladed saber in the fashion of Darth Maul and Savage Opress. It features a Lemon quartz crystal illuminated by 2 white leds. The blades are 3W RGB LEDS,which have been color mixed to Yellow and both powerd by a 3.7v li-ion battery. It is made from standard MHS parts from TCSS which I slightly altered on my lathe. The shrouds were designed by Aurora and are powdercoated in Black Chrome. The main bodies, crystal chamber and blade holders are powdercoated in a flat black. It is also rechargeable so you don't have to take it apart to swap out the batteries. The whole saber is about 20 inches long. It's a big ass saber! But, enough jibba' jabba'!
